The Young Women's Resource Center is looking for ongoing volunteers to come and help organize donation items that are brought through our door. Items include, but are not limited to; Hygiene or school supplies, diapers, clothes and general donation drives. This volunteer will be responsible for receiving donations, sorting, and storing items in our donation closets. A successful volunteer will be one that actively maintains the donation closets organized and the receiving area clear. Shifts are Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:00pm, and Friday's before12:00Noon (scheduling is flexible).

Description
The Young Women's Resource Center serves more than 1,600 young women each year through our 13 programs, including: support groups, individual counseling, and in-school and after-school programs.
Founded in 1978, this non-profit agency provides gender specific services to all young women ages 10-21 in central Iowa. Founder Louise Noun and other community leaders believed young women needed a safe place to receive support, education, and advocacy. A wide variety of services surrounding perinatal services and prevention services are provided in schools, community organizations, and at the Center.

Monday-Thursday Open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday Open 8 a.m.-Noon
