What is a mentor? To our scholars, mentors are their friends, a role model, a source of support. Mentors take them to new and fun enrichment activities- like games, ballets, movies- They joke together, they laugh together, they support each other. Most importantly, they build a fun, trusting, one-on-one relationship with a young person who needs and deserves that relationship.
So if this sounds inspiring and interesting for you then please inquire within! We want you to join our Mentor Corps with 35 other individuals who engage on 1-1 mentoring relationships with our scholars. If you've never been a mentor before, not a problem! We go through group trainings, renewal tranings, email check-ins, and more to make sure YOU are successful.
And what do you get in the process? You get to be a part of a journey of a soon to be first-generation college graduate. You get to see them graduate 8th grade, high school, stress over the SAT/ACT, get accepted to their first college and more. You will become a significant impactor in their journey.
So inquire within! We look forward to hearing from you!
