Here are some ways your group could benefit and give back by volunteering at City Hope:
Food Prep - Come cook with us!
Food stations will be set up for you and your team to cook and prepare a meal for 100 of our guests. This can be done the day/evening before or the day of the program (hours are flexible)
Educate & Equip: Homelessness, Addiction, City Hope & You
Learn about City Hope, the gifts and challenges of the Tenderloin, best practices in community development, and how you can help!
Food Service - Healthy food with a smile
All our meals at City Hope’s programs are served restaurant-style, with menus and table service. Help guests fill out menus and find seats, plate food, and deliver meals to tables. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to engage with our guests!
Email us at groups@cityhopesf.org to create a custom opportunity for your group. Or you can sign up to volunteer for one of our regular programs (individuals or groups welcome) on our website: cityhopesf.org/calendar

Mission Statement
City Hope is the living room for those without enough living space in the Tenderloin. We provide a trusted gathering place and creatively offer as many elements of home as possible for our neighbors on the margins.
Description
City Hope Community Center is a living room for those without enough living space. It is the dignity of bathrooms and hot showers, basic human necessities like a toothbrush or socks. It is a healthy home-cooked meal, prepared and served to you by those who know and care about you. It’s a place where we have fun, a place to laugh even when you’re struggling. We play games, watch movies, and even sing to each other (join us for karaoke!). City Hope is a trusted gathering place, a center for the community.
