ORGANIZATION: The Black Rebirth Collective (BRC)

Volunteers are needed on January 18, 2020, from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you enjoy pouring drinks, welcoming guests, creating perfect food table displays, or setting up and cleaning up, WE NEED YOU!

Groups (any size) are welcome to volunteer from 12:00 pm to 4 pm.

Volunteers must be:
  1. 18+ years of age
  2. Able to follow instructions
  3. Personable/friendly
  4. Outgoing & Energic
  5. Professional and Poised
  6. Able to work the full shift (12 pm - 11:00 pm).

Community service hours/letters of recommendation will be provided upon request.

The Black Rebirth Collective (BRC) invites you to volunteer at their 1st Annual fundraiser "Reaching Higher and Higher" on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, in Los Angeles.

The wondrous evening will feature red carpet arrivals with Hollywood and Broadway stars, playwrights; a silent auction with a cocktail reception, a live show, and a post-show mixer.

The Black Rebirth Collective (The BRC) is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization, headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The BRC’s mission is to connect, nurture and support actors as they enter the creative process, whether through training, readings, or productions while remaining rooted in the cultural expression that is found throughout the African diaspora and in the principle of Ujima - Collective work and responsibility.

-- To engage disenfranchised youth by encouraging them to unplug from technology to discover the joy of play, and empower their voices through theatre
