ORGANIZATION: The Cupcake Girls

Job Description

The Resources Lead will report directly to the Community Engagement Manager and will work collaboratively with all of The Cupcake Girls departments. Specifically, this Lead is responsible for solidifying partnerships between The Cupcake Girls and community resources, partners, professionals, corporate sponsors and more. S/he will be integral in maintaining relationships in the community for future benefit of the organization on the city level.


Principal Responsibilities
  1. Connect with the Direct Care Manager to assess current needs of clients and which partnerships to target in the community.
  2. Connect with Community Relations Lead for info of potential partners, donors, etc.
  3. Connect with the City Director to determine corporate sponsor/donor targets per quarter.
  4. Update & log all resources available in Podio.
  5. Creating documents and packages for solidifying partnerships.
  6. Develop a follow-up strategy for all connections made at networking and booth events.
  7. Schedule at least 4 meetings per month with potential community and business partners.
  8. Train all team members on the current practices and procedures, including specialized training with documents & verbiage for sharing & solidifying partners.
  9. Solicit items to be donated (raffle, silent auction, office supplies, food items, etc.)
  10. Connect with Resources team members regularly via Podio and team meetings.
  11. Connect with new volunteers for coffee within a week of them joining the team.
  12. Fill out Weekly Lead Check-in form weekly.
  13. Lead Fundraising team.
  14. Commit to 5 hours per week of concentrated work in your role.
  15. Log office hours and track team office hours in Podio.
  16. Attend scheduled Lead meetings.
  17. Connect biweekly with the Resources Lead in your sister city.

We partner with our clients to build comprehensive, holistic plans to help them pursue their goals and objectives, working to ensure that we're matching the right solutions to the right individual at the right time.
