Preparation Activities for serving Thanksgiving meal to homeless and families in the West Humboldt Park community of Chicago, Illinois. We are located at 825 N. Christiana Ave., Chicago, 60651.

Volunteer Badge Coordination
Description: (Shift 1) empty badge holders from last event, stuff holders with new badges. (Shift 2) categorize badges by assignment, alphabetize badges per assignment, and place in appropriate badge sorter.
Both shifts have been filled. Thank you for your interest. Please consider volunteering with us on Christmas 2019.

Mobile Feeding, 7 slots, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (You'll need your own car! No children under age 13, please).
Senior Home Serving - 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (approximate time) (Involves dropping food off and serving. No children, please).
Please do not arrive before receiving confirmation (by phone or email) that you have been assigned a slot for a particular assignment. We do not accept walk-ins due to spaces already being filled.

Description
The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center is located in the Freedom Center. In this facility we have three main focuses/programs; recovery program from addictions for homeless men, re-entry for men and women, and a community center.
