Our mission-to foster fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ’s love-is brought to life through the generosity of our donors. So many of our special programs, services and amenities are made possible through the generous partnership these supporters.
The philanthropy team is seeking office volunteers who would be interested helping us raise money to support our residents, families and communities. These philanthropy office volunteers would play a key role in increasing the capacity of our staff through helping with direct mail fundraising (letter fold/stuffing), event preparation (flyer print, cutting, folding) and data entry.
If you're passionate about serving older adults and interested in volunteering in an office setting supporting fundraising work, then this ongoing opportunity is perfect for you. Time commitment is flexible - as little as a few times a year or as much as once a week.

At Augustana Care and Elim Care, we were each on our own uncompromising quest to foster fullness of life for older adults, in the spirit of Christ’s love. We realized that our paths were converging, so we joined into one organization with one mission and one name: Cassia - inspired by an anointing oil, referenced in Scripture, to reflect our history of compassion, renewal and future growth. We believe that coming together to contribute talents and skills makes us not only stronger but better able to serve.
As a faith based organization, Cassia carries out its mission in senior living communities, health care centers and through home and community based services.
