Greetings!

Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for a skilled individual who can help us create and develop our ongoing volunteer newsletter for our partners at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Our office (headquarters) is located in Glendale where the newsletter will be made. This person will be responsible for continually updating our monthly newsletter with new content and ideas. This position would be great for individuals (professional, student or hobbyist) in the following field or expertise: marketing, communications, journalism, healthcare administration, public health, outreach,

Our goal is to help bring awareness of Hospice and Palliative care to the Cedar Sinai Medical Center.

Ideal skill sets:
-Excellent writing skills
-Computer design proficient
-Proficient in Canva and Microsoft Publisher
-Creatively driven!

Mission Statement

Hospice Volunteer Training is a program where we select qualified persons who can fit well with patients who have a terminal illness through several organizations. We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.

Description

Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
