We are currently looking for a Lead Instructor for our James Heidenreich Literacy Center. The ideal person will have experience in creating individual lesson plans for adults who need basic reading and writing skills. Duties include creating lesson plans, overseeing other volunteers, and encouraging and creating a positive atmosphere.

Our current hours are 9-noon on Mondays and Wednesdays. We would like to expand these hours, but we are flexible with the person's availability.

Description

We offer many programs here, including our Living Room (resource center), Breach Cafe, and our Free Clinic. We have 80-100 visitors per day utilizing our services such as our learning/online center, communications "Life Line" service, and shower service.
