DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Seed sorting, repacking, organizing
- Performing inventories of seeds and supplies
Additional opportunities might develop, such as:
- Coordination of seed saving workshops and/or seed swaps
- Mentoring of new gardeners and seed savers
- Seed Library outreach and events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Skills in organizing and inventorying
- Knowledge of gardening and seed-saving issues
- Experience working with the public
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish a plus
TRAINING
- Library Staff will provide orientation, training, and on-going supervision/support

Description
The Copper Queen Library and San Jose Library Annex serves the residents of Bisbee and the surrounding areas. The Library has been in operation since 1882, making it the oldest, continuously operated public library in the state of Arizona. And in 2019, the Library was awarded the EBSCO Award of Excellence in Rural Library Service by the American Library Association and was named the Best Small Library in America by the Library Journal.
