Lewiston City Library
Position Overview : Do you want to work with books? There are a variety of tasks in the Processing Department we need help with, including disc cleaning, mending, processing materials, sorting donations, or pulling requests for patrons.
We are looking for someone who :
- Has a love of books!
- Can pay attention to detail
- Exhibits good eye/hand coordination
- Works well with little supervision
- Is able to bend/stoop/lift up to 20 lbs
Time Commitment : Varies depending on task and your availability, but is typically 1-2 hours/week. While some of the tasks can be intermittent, holds are pulled at 9:00 a.m. and we request a regular commitment of one day per week.
Length of Commitment : Depending on task, as some are project-based and others, such as holds, are on-going.
