Position Overview: Do you love working with plants? We need a volunteer gardener! You can assist in maintaining outdoor gardens of the Library.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Weed, prune, transplant, and mulch annual/perennials in the beds and containers surrounding the library.
- Label plants located in beds for public education.
- Provide information and advice to the public regarding selection, purchase, and care of garden/plants.
Required Skills:
- Basic gardening knowledge
- Garden tool knowledge
- Enjoy being outdoors
Time Commitment: 1-3 hours per week
Length of Commitment: Ongoing
