Compassionate caring individuals are needed to provide companionship to hospice patients in Rancho Cordova. We are looking for volunteers to visit patients at their homes or facilities on a weekly basis. Visits may include reading, playing music, walking, assisting in activity, getting to know the patient, or just sitting by their bedside so they are not alone.
You can visit your patient at a time that works for you. We work to match you with patients who live close to you in your area. Suncrest serves patients throughout Placer and Sacramento, Yolo and El Dorado Counties.
You must be 18 years old to volunteer and willing to undergo a background, TB and drug screening at no cost to the volunteer. Training is required and support provided! Contact Volunteer Coordinator Kathy at KDolan@suncrestcare.com or call 916-928-0102 for any further questions.
