You are invited to join us to restore Manzanita Canyon into a safe and vibrant place for students and families to enjoy and explore. We will be restoring the native habitat by removing trash and weeds, and planting native plants. This event is geared towards youth but all ages welcome!
Community service hours documentation provided to those who need it. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign two youth waiver to participate in this event.

Wear sturdy shoes or boots and a hat and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Tools and gloves provided.

Mission Statement
San Diego Canyonlands' mission is to promote, protect and restore the natural habitats in San Diego County's canyons and creeks. We do this by fostering education and ongoing community involvement in stewardship and advocacy, and by collaborating with other organizations.
Description
During the monthly events, we would like volunteers to help us remove trash, invasive non-native plants, plant native plants in restoration sites, maintain trails, and do other exciting work to enhance the canyon. Our urban canyons and creeks are critical to the health of the San Diego ecosystems.
