We are currently in need of volunteers to help us run our annual Breakthrough event.

This event recognizes those who have helped fuel the impact of the MS Society through their involvement in our various events and programs.

Everything we do would not be possible without generous individuals like you. You can view volunteer details below. We appreciate your willingness to serve with us and look forward to making this a great event!

Needs:

(4 Volunteers) Registration/Check-In: Greet guest at check in table. Ask attendees for name and check them in on the list. If person does not have a form of contact (email/phone) listed, please ask them for a reliable contact for follow up post program (email preferred). Please record information for any attendees who were not registered prior to the event. (name, phone, email). Request that the guest complete a Media Release form, if guest does not want their photo/image used, please provide them with the specially marked name tag. Otherwise, ask them to fill out a standard nametag. Direct guest to seating area and provide general instructions on location of bathrooms, tables, etc. as needed.

(2 Volunteers) Mission Table: Be the representative for the National MS Society at the Services and Mission table. This table will include information on NMSS programs and events available to the community. Additional items may include giveaway items (key chains, bracelets, pop sockets, etc). Basic knowledge of NMSS programs is preferred but not necessary.

The South Central Region, headquartered in Houston, TX is made up of five states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.

Seeking out and engaging volunteers to join the movement is at the very core of our organization.

We engage volunteers at every level. Join an event committee, volunteer at a walk or bike event, advocate at the capitol, volunteer at our office, no matter how you choose to contribute, you are doing something about MS now!

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to share their time and talent to help stop MS!
