We need someone to help edit the audio file of our Medicare for All podcast (1-3 hours per month). If you have an audio editing background and are passionate about winning universal healthcare in the United States, we'd love to work with you!

We have a team of staff and volunteers who plan, write, and record the podcast in an online recording platform, so much of the work is done! We just need someone to take the raw file and edit it for us in Audition (or a more professional audio editing platform). We have intro and outro music that you'll append, but other than that it's pretty straight forward.

Podcast episodes are 30-45 minutes long, and are recorded every other week (twice per month). Depending on how much work you want to do (editing out umms, etc.) editing will take 1-2, at most 3 hours per episode. We keep two volunteer audio editors so the work can be shared; that means each editor is responsible for only 1 episode per month.

It's not a huge monthly time commitment, but we are looking for someone who will stick around and commit to doing this for at least 6 months, preferably one year.

Great learning experience for someone hoping to gain experience in audio editing, or someone already experienced who wants to support our cause!
