We are looking for volunteers to help with the East Central Area Special Olympics Basketball Skills this coming year. Our Athletes will be participating in various basketball skill sets such as dribbling, shooting, and passing. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:

-Escorts for the athletes to the different stations around the gym
- Keeping score of athletes' points received at the various stations
- Helping with awards ceremony
-Helping with the basketball skills stations in order for them to run smoothly

*Lunch will be provided for volunteers following the event. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Training will begin at 8:30 AM and volunteers will be briefed on their jobs prior to the event starting. Volunteers will also help with set up of the event.
  • Standing for long periods of time, walking around, and verbal in English are requirements
