We are a volunteer run nonprofit that feels exactly the same way and we are searching for collegiate brand ambassadors who can help us spread the word about our goals.

Why Volunteer: Experience, Purpose, Community, and Fun. We are thrilled to be launching a new campus program that will help our nonprofit organization reach a broader audience and have a deeper impact. You will be part of our inaugural campus volunteer team. You'll have an opportunity to help our organization shape it's campus outreach program. In exchange for your volunteer effort, you'll have an opportunity to receive direct hands on professional coaching and mentor-ship from our existing Start Giving Local leadership team. You'll be directly interacting with our Founder and board members. Job Purpose: As a college campus brand ambassador, you will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the Start Giving Local brand on campus. You will work as a liaison between our organization and the students, faculty, alumni, and members of the public on campus. You may act as a representative for our brand by attending/hosting relevant events, handing out swag, and promoting us on your social media platforms. You are encouraged to come up with other ideas to help increase engagement with Start Giving Local and students on campus. Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with Start Giving Locals mission, vision, and goals
• Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize campaigns and strategies
• Educate students, faculty, and the general public about our brand
• Create social media content in order to drive brand awareness and attract new consumers
• Represent Start Giving Local at campus charity events
• Maintain a positive image of the brand at all times
• Increase brand awareness, brand consideration and user engagement among target market
• Generate new Start Giving Local volunteer fundraising athletes.

• College student pursuing a degree in Business Marketing/Communications/PR/Sports Management
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
• Great at creating and maintaining relationships with people on campus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-connected and active in campus life
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
• Strong presence on social media a plus
