Assistant to the Director of Program Support

The Assistant to the Director of Program Support for STANDUP FOR KIDS will work in cooperation with

other members of the leadership team to perform the following duties:

1. To determine and procure the food, clothing and hygiene products needed to support

programs. He/she will work in close cooperation with the Director of Outreach to ensure

the attainment of the supplies needed for outreach.

2. The Assistant Director of Support for STANDUP FOR KIDS will work under the direction

of the Director of Support to procure and manage the store of supplies for the

organization.

3. Maintain chapter handbook / reference

4. Manage storage unit/warehouse/stock of donated goods

5. Conduct research & gather statistics

6. Maintain chapter wish list

7. Document minutes / actions

8. With the Director of Community Resource Development, help maintain a thorough list of

services in the community assisting homeless and street kids.

9. Maintain project plan

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Director of Program Support:

1. Enthusiastic team player able to work effectively with both the leadership team and

volunteers

2. Strong leadership ability

3. Ability to plan and manage work with minimum direction

Director of Program Support & Assistant Director of Program Support:

1. Superior verbal and written communication skills

2. Excellent organizational and planning skills

3. Strong sense of personal integrity

4. Sincere desire to help homeless and street kids

5. Time commitment of at least 3 hours per week to dedicate to fulfilling leadership duties

6. At least six-months commitment to the organization

7. Computer Skills including email, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

8. Good research skills and knowledge of internet
