Volunteer with Girl Scouts! Girls will spend the evening discovering community issues that affect their areas, as they learn to become a leader and a change maker. By the end of the event, girls will complete the "Discover" portion of the Girl Scout Journey, and be on their way to becoming a community leader. Girls will learn to change the world! Volunteers will teach girls about air quality issues and how girls can advocate for clean air for all. Volunteers are needed to assist in leading activities throughout the evening, help with event set-up, check in and clean up, and ensure girls have the highest quality experience at this event.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Must be able to volunteer for the full event
  • Supportive of different learning and communication styles
  • Willing to lead activity stations for girls ages 7-10 (full instructions for each station will be given at the event)
  • Punctual, dependable, enthusiastic, flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to facilitate programs when given instruction
