Tutoring Plus is seeking volunteers to mentor students through tutoring! We have a host of high school students who need assistance with their physics homework! Volunteers also have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impression on their student's view of STEM subjects by showing them that physics can be enjoyable and exciting.
Each volunteer tutor is matched one-on-one with the same student once a week based on academic strengths and needs as well as personality and interests. Mentorship is the gift that keeps on giving!
Volunteer opportunities are just ONE HOUR on week nights from 6:00- 7:00pm at our 5 different locations in Cambridge (all accessible by public transportation). Opportunities are available to work with students in grades 9-12.
No experience is necessary and training is provided!

Description
For over 55 years, Tutoring Plus has continued to provide academic support to Cambridge students. By providing a structured environment for volunteers and a highly personalized approach to working with students, Tutoring Plus currently supports over 210 students and 170 tutors and serves as a critical resource for our students and families.
All of our programs are provided free of charge to support our effort to close the opportunity gap within our neighborhood.
