For the thousands of children, adults and families Sheppard Pratt (formerly Family Services, Inc.) serves each year, the holidays mean a direct and positive connection to the generosity and kindness of people like YOU.

We invite you to experience the joy of giving back to those who are especially in need during the holiday season by participating in our Hope for the Holidays 2023.

You can help make this holiday season special and we’re making it easy to do so by using Sign Up Genius. Scroll through the list on the link below and you’ll see three different options for helping. You can...

  • Adopt an individual child or adult with a specific gift request;

  • Adopt a family with specific gift requests; or

  • Purchase generic gifts and/or gift cards that we can distribute to children and adults as needed.

Please note that this list will be updated with information for new children, adults and/or families as we receive them from our programs. If you do not see an option for you now, please be sure to check back at a later date.

Gifts can be dropped off Monday-Friday 9:30-4:30PM to 640 East Diamond Avenue, Suite C in Gaithersburg. The deadline for dropping off gifts is Monday, December 16 at 5:00PM.

From newborns to adults, Sheppard Pratt, provides high-quality services to foster health and well-being in the home, school and community. Founded in 1908, SP serves over 27,000 of the most vulnerable residents and operates over 36 programs throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. SP provides a wide array of programs and services which address Integrated Health and Behavioral Health; Children, Youth and Families; Victim and Domestic Violence and Community Support Services. With a staff of more than 400 who proudly represent over 50 countries and speak 42 languages, FSI continues to be at the forefront in the development, collaboration and delivery of services that meet the needs of our culturally diverse and evolving communities.
