EAGLES Restorative Foster Care Court is currently recruiting male VOLUNTEERS & MENTORS for the upcoming 2021-2022 program year that begins in September.

The mission of EAGLES Court is to invest in young men ages 14 to 18 who have been placed in foster care. By providing therapeutic care, individualized case management, life skills training, and mentoring, EAGLES (Excellence, Achievement, Grit, Learning & Leadership, Esteem, Strength) Court supports them through aging out. EAGLES Court serves a vulnerable population of male teens who are permanent members of the foster care system. EAGLES Court provides a network of support including a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult (volunteers & mentors from our community) who will help them to value their whole selves and inherent strengths.

Volunteer Positions:

• Mentor: one to one relationship
• Support Mentor: supports the group of youth as a whole (if a one to one commitment cannot be made)
• Special Events Volunteer-Speaker/ Teacher

EAGLES Court will meet once a month at the Bexar County Courthouse. EAGLES Court will also plan community Days of Opportunity and Days of Service for young men in foster care and their mentors to participate in.
