Working directly with Hospice Patients primarily. Providing company, some errand running, possible light house work if needed. Support during this time of their lives. Administrative work at the office is sometimes needed also. Willingness to drive to the homes of patients. There is no mileage reimbursement.
Things you will not be doing:
administering medications
bathing/cleaning
toileting assistance
lifting/moving the patient
transporting the patient

- Orientation or Training
- We would like our volunteers to be able to provide home visits at least 2x a month. Some patients may only want once a month, some may prefer weekly if this is available. Volunteers can also go on the weekend and weeknights if they choose.
- Sensitivity to the needs/desires of the patient and family.
