EmpowHer Institute has an exciting opportunity for an individual with a high degree of energy with a passion to make a difference in the community. We are seeking those looking to take their next step in their career path while serving the community. We are looking for a competent Program Support Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Support Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers for our company and supporting our donor development strategy.
Program Support Coordinator duties and responsibilities
Source and recruit volunteers using different recruiting various techniques
Collect information on qualifications and skills
Arrange for training when needed
Manage schedules for everyday activities
Assign responsibilities as appropriate
Communicate frequently with volunteers
Ensure volunteers are satisfied by creating a healthy working environment
Keep and manage records of volunteers’ information and work
Track volunteers work
Evaluate volunteers work
Give constructive feedback
Assist in implementing mentor recruitment plan inclusive of presentations to targeted groups, organizations and individuals, and ensuring a presence at key community events.
Donor Development/Stewardship:
Collaborate with the team to create and implement strategies to acquire new donors and develop a pipeline of increased giving for education and community programming.
Manage day-to-day donor stewardship
Create financial and stewardship reports, in partnership with the Fund Development Director, to
further enhance donor cultivation and predict areas of increased giving.
Develop and maintain a personal prospect pool of donors to cultivate, solicit and steward.
Oversee maintenance of relevant donor records in Donor Perfect database, ensuring accuracy of
mailing lists and publication listings. QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation, project and volunteer management, team-working, organizational, computer and oral and written communication skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English. Experience working with high-risk youth and diverse volunteers, and the ability to interface with administrators preferred. Light lifting (Up to 20-40 lbs.) and some driving required. Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with possible evenings and Saturdays but notified in advance.
