food pantry

Food Bag Day is one of the ways in which TNDC supports our tenants during the holiday season by preparing a bag with enough for a full holiday meal for individuals and families who may experience food insecurity or isolation during the holidays.

We have two shifts:

Morning Shift--8:30am-11:00am
Help assemble the food bags, working alongside TNDC staff members in property management and social services. Additionally, you may be handling raw packaged chicken while wearing gloves.

Distribution Shift--11:30am-2:00pm
Support getting food bags transported and distributed from the Ambassador to various TNDC buildings and our tenants. It is physical work and there are a few lulls in activity so folks have to be prepared for this.

We're looking for volunteers who are flexible and ready to pick up any task set before them!

If you're interested in volunteering, please respond with the shift that you'd like to join us for.
Looking forward to working with you!
