The physical therapy volunteer position is designed for undergraduate students who are preparing to apply and attend a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.

Volunteer positions are located at Courage Kenny Sports and Physical Therapy outpatient clinics throughout the twin cities area, Courage Kenny Kids in Coon Rapids, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute inpatient Transitional Rehabilitation Program in Golden Valley, inpatient acute rehabilitation at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and outpatient clinic in Stillwater.

Volunteers provide assistance to therapists and patients as appropriate under the guidance of a physical therapists and rehabilitation therapy aides. Great opportunity to learn about the profession of physical therapy and to earn the observation hours for application to DPT programs. Volunteers commit to one 3 hour shift per week for a minimum of 3 months or semester. Shifts are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 12 noon or 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
