Do you love fun activities with children? Do you speak one of Asian languages? If yes, we would like YOU to join us at Toy Drive 2019 with DC Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA).
MOAPIA holds its annual Toy Drive and End of Year Holiday celebration for the District's underserved youth and families. At the event, children gets to enjoy activities such as magical show, musical games, face painting and balloon twisting, while they also enjoy snacks. As part of the event, around 150 to 200 donated toys will be distributed to DC children, ages 3-14.

Time: from 4:45pm to 8:00pm
*Dinner will be provided.

Description
The Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) acts as a liaison between the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and the District government. MOAPIA assists constituents with accessing government services, conducts outreach to ensure that community member’s concerns are voiced and carried out, and provides materials in languages that are widely spoken in the API community. In addition, MOAPIA's subject matter liaison helps community members with more specific questions regarding economic development, education, employment, mental health, health and human services, housing, and safety issues.
