About FareStart
FareStart provides a community that transforms lives by empowering adults and young people experiencing poverty and homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training, and employment in the foodservice industry.
Overview
FareStart’s Marketing and Communications team is looking for a volunteer to assist in our offices on a weekly basis. The Marketing and Communications volunteer will work on a variety of projects including data entry, reporting, printing, project assembly and research, focusing on ensuring that our community and the public is aware of our students, programs and businesses. No marketing or communications experience required- this is a great opportunity to learn!

Elizabeth Mech, Communications Coordinator
Time Commitment and Location
The Marketing and Communications Office Support will volunteer weekly for 2-3 hours. Timing of volunteer shifts will be set at a mutually agreed time between 8am-4pm.

Qualifications
Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, etc.
Adobe Acrobat
Computer Competency: online research
Ability to work independently and self-direct
Comfortable seeking directions and asking questions
Flexible with supporting different projects during shift
