Hello!
As the season of giving and winter approaches, we here at Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas hope you are well! VOACC is a faith-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to empower self-reliance and inspire hope. As a church without walls, we do this through personalized housing, ministry, health, and human services that benefit vulnerable individuals, their families and the community.
On behalf of VOACC, I would like to formally extend an invitation to volunteer at our new VOA Resource Center, powered by Good360. Being that the VOA Resource Center is brand new to our organization, we could use all hands-on deck to ensure the many communities we serve do not go without this winter! This volunteer opportunity will consist of organizing and sorting the wonderful donations we continue to receive from our great partners like Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club etc. We welcome all persons willing to come and volunteer and assist. Groups of 6 and larger are much appreciated, and we ask that all volunteers donate at least 3-4 hours of their time if able.
