The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is the largest, most effective, and longstanding organization fighting kidney disease. With skyrocketing rates of diabetes and cardiovascular disease and obesity worldwide, resulting in a corresponding increase in chronic kidney disease, our work is more important than ever. Our priority is the people we care about-those affected by CKD-and improving their lives.

This program is the "face" of the National Kidney Foundation, where we meet directly with people to assess their risk for kidney disease and, through quick tests, determine if they have the signs of kidney disease. The health assesment includes: ■ Risk Survey ■ Blood pressure check ■ Body mass index (BMI) measurement ■ Urine tests ■ Consultation with a clinician■ Educational materials and tools to help support a healthier lifestyle. Each bullet point corresponds with a specific station and volunteers will be needed to help out at each station. Volunteers are essential in making sure the event runs smmothly and that ll necessary information is gathered at each station.

Volunteers will be provided both breakfast and lunch, as well as a freee t-shirt.
