In the interest of public health, Keizer Community Library has temporarily closed to the public beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 16 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The closure is a recognition of how quickly the virus is impacting our community. Suspension of services is the prudent thing to do to help support the containment of this virus in our community. Please watch either our website www.keizerlibrary.org, Facebook and/or Twitter for further news and updates.
Volunteers are needed right now for the Circulation Desk, Tuesday's from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Volunteers in this position meet and greet patrons, check items in and out, assist patrons with computers, library related needs and accept donations. Volunteers also maintain the appearance of the Library shelving media, keeping the library clean and presentable. Volunteers work in pairs; it’s fun to do this with a friend or spouse, so recruit someone to volunteer with you!
Join our team by visiting the Library to pick up a Volunteer Application, or visiting our website (http://www.keizerlibrary.org/home/come_volunteer) for a printable application (please print, fill it out, and drop it off at the Library). Volunteers who have regular access to Library patrons and Board members are also required to complete a criminal background check.
We look forward to having you join our team!
