Blood Services: Central: Volunteer Scheduling Specialist
Purpose:
Assist Biomedical Services Volunteer Management by providing scheduling support
Reports To / Partners With:
Biomedical Services Volunteer Management staff, Volunteers
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining blood drive schedule
- Communicate regularly, through phone and email, with volunteers to recruit for assignments
- Communicate any special circumstances or changes to assigned volunteers
- Receive and share feedback from volunteers regarding assignments
- Perform data entry to ensure accurate volunteer records
- Develop ongoing relationship with volunteer community

Qualifications:
- Willingness to support Red Cross mission
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be neat, detailed, and thorough
- Clerical and computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Willingness to learn Red Cross-specific applications
Training:
- Orientation to the American red Cross
- On-the-job training
