Description
Unlimited Potential is a grassroots agency which has educational programs for under-served populations. Our Adult Programs focus on teaching English as second language, literacy, life skills, parenting, GED classes, computer and we also provide training for community health workers/promotores; Community Programs focus on health education, community garden, healing garden, developing skills to create a healthy environment. Children and Adolescent Programs help children 6 mo-5 yrs gain communication and socialization. These programs meet 5 days/week. Weekend events and evening workshops are available. Program content is based on the interests and needs of participants, who live in the Phoenix community. Most clients attend for 2 years, then go to college or get part-time jobs. Our staff are bilingual. We have an 80% retention rate.
