Providence St. Peter Hospital is a place where you can help build a health community by volunteering. Through acts of kindness, heling hands, and a knowing smile, volunteers make a difference in the healthcare experience.
Volunteers at Providence serve in a variety of positions, providing a special, personal touch. Most positions ask volunteers to serve one-day-a-week for a 3-hour session.
Current opportunities to lend a hand:

- No One Dies Alone / NODA (PSPH/PCH): Volunteers serve at the bedside to be a human companion during a patient’s dying process. This is an on-call position.
- Comfort Cart Rounders (PSPH/PCH): Volunteers round with patients using a comfort cart to distribute activities, games, and personal care items.
- Unit Support (PSPH/PCH): Volunteers serve in a designated unit to support nurses and patients by answering call lights, provide drinks and snacks to patients, and stocking supplies.
