Please join us for our Library Makeover day! We need support to makeover our classroom libraries, and get new and exciting texts in the hands of our students!
Volunteers will be working to label and disperse over 1,500 new books recently purchased by our school to our 20 classroom libraries. Volunteers will take part in 1 of 3 stations during this event. Volunteers will have the option of:
- Station 1: Volunteers will use an online database (provided by the school) to look up the reading level of a given text and label the text accordingly.
- Station 2: Volunteers will place and secure a secondary label on the books for students to use during checkout.
- Station 3: Volunteers will restock and organize classroom libraries throughout the school.
