West Valley Community Services is fighting poverty by providing critical food, housing, and support services to the low income and homeless individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, and West San Jose. As part of our offerings, we provide Financial Coaching services to help our clients learn about their budget and help them manage their credit and credit problems.
We are seeking community members with experience in financial coaching, banking, budgeting, or debt management to join a six-month program. As a volunteer coach, you will provide one-on-one coaching for participants, assist participants with goal setting, budgeting, credit building/rebuilding, debt repayment, savings, utilization for quality, financial services, and assess development and monitor participants progress towards financial goals.

About West Valley Community Services:
West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
