Clio Center for the Arts is in need of volunteers to help create, plan & supervise fundraising events for the arts center. Also manage the art gallery, schedule shows, etc. We are a non-profit organization providing art classes to children, adults and seniors. Our finances are solely from donation & grants which is why this position exists. Plan events to raise money to pay for supplies, teachers and operating expenses. Hours will be flexible with your schedule upon approval of the president of the art center. These duties could be split between two volunteers if needed.

Description
The Clio Center for the Arts is a venue for sharing art within the community with a staff of teachers with a variety of skills. Currently we offer classes for children and adults in painting, watercolor, ceramics, stained glass, arts & crafts, photography, paint pouring, jewelry making and pencil & charcoal drawing. We also work with home school students, special needs students, seniors & other organizations. Our existence depends on volunteer staff for running the office, gallery and events. We are need to expand our presence in the community and offer more programs through social media and advertising.
