Recruiting dynamic individuals who wish to volunteer serving on the agency's Board. Board meetings are held twice per month in the evening from 6pm-7pm. Hours may be extended to no later than 7:30pm depending upon the items on the agenda. Seeking candidates who have experience with social services or education specifically with knowledge of Early Care and Education and/or services to low income families and childcare. Former recipients of subsidized child care; teachers; former day care providers are encouraged to apply.
Board training is provided on California state statutes and regulations as it pertains to the administration of child development programs in addition to training on agency policies and procedures. Board members are trained on their fiduciary and oversight responsibilities to the agency.

Who We Are The Community Child Care Council of Santa Clara County (4C's) is proud to serve the community of the greater Silicon Valley, for more than 30 years. 4C's is a non-profit, community-based agency that provides a variety of comprehensive services and serves as the community child care link for families and child care professionals who live and work in Santa Clara County, California.
