Reading Champions Impact a child's life by growing their reading confidence! Unlike other volunteer reading programs, Reading Champions is focused on building students’ fluency skills for over a decade. Close to 150 specially-trained volunteers support 500 children in all Greenwich elementary schools and 4 after-school programs. Volunteers are recruited and serve on a regularly scheduled basis, from the fall through late spring. Training, materials and support are provided. For more information call Cecile Meunier, Champions Program Coordinator at the Greenwich United Way at (203) 869-2221 or cmeunier@greenwichunitedway.org.
