Our most valuable resource is volunteer help. Remote volunteers can spread our message through social media to solicit donations, post our activities on appropriate crowd-funding sites, and find and apply for grants that will provide stable long-term funding; on-site volunteers can document our impact and evaluate how we can improve. The one most critical volunteer of all is you: someone who can help us recruit volunteers to perform all these other needed tasks.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you would work with us to develop job descriptions, find and set up accounts on sites that post volunteer opportunities (like this one), post the job descriptions for help needed, and communicate with applicants about how to get started. Once you have found a volunteer willing and able to fill an opportunity, you can continue to monitor and evaluate their work if you would like to, or just pass their info on to us.

Communicating with potential and active volunteers from around the world can be deeply rewarding personally as well as providing us with an invaluable service that will indirectly impact hundreds of lives.
