ORGANIZATION: AUDITORY-VERBAL CENTER INC

  • 11 people are interested

AVC is looking for new board members for both the Board of Directors and the Board of Young Professionals. Board members are asked to participate in regular board meetings 6 times per year, support special events throughout the year, leverage their personal and professional relationships for the good of the organization, advocate on behalf of the organization and make an annual contribution to the organization.

Serving on a nonprofit board offers incredible opportunities for professional development and helps to boost your network and profile both in your organization and in your industry. Board service is both good professionally and it feels good to make a real impact in your community. Board service is not restricted to organizations related to your career field, but consider your passions, too.

Keep in mind, board service is strictly volunteer.
