Pathlight HOME, founded in 1992, is Florida’s first and largest provider of the proven Housing First permanent supportive housing model. They currently provide more than 600 formerly-homeless Central Florida neighbors with permanent, affordable housing through two apartment complexes - Maxwell Terrace Apartments (3200 W Colonial Dr) and Maxwell Garden Apartments (4049 S. Orange Blossom Trail). Both locations include efficiency units and supportive services programs for adults who are chronically homeless, as well as units for those imminently homelessness. There are 3 case managed programs at Pathlight HOME: Safe Haven, Homes For New Beginnings, and Restore.
Pathlight HOME is happy to receive any donations that would be beneficial to our residents. After donations are received, they must be sorted, stored and distributed. Volunteers are welcome to assist in this process when available. This opportunity may take place at Maxwell Terrace (3200 W Colonial Dr) or Maxwell Garden (4049 S Orange Blossom Trail).

Mission Statement
To change the lives of homeless and low-income individuals by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities.
Description
Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low-income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. We are a non-profit organization providing over 600 formerly homeless individuals with permanent, supportive housing in Central Florida. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corp., we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our "housing first" philosophy.
Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s CafĂ©. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.
