Tuesday’s Children is seeking volunteers to help us find long-term youth mentors for children of our nations Families of the Fallen. We are seeking someone who will spend time in our NYC office and conduct outreach to places of worship, workplaces, civic and alumni associations, clubs and volunteer recruitment centers to help us secure mentors for children waiting.
Gold Star children are seeking adult role models to spend 4-6 hours a mos with them and Tuesday's Children is making this program a reality for these children who have lost a guiding light in their lives.
This program fills the gaps in services offered to families of the fallen with children 6-18* years old. Our
Military Initiative Mentoring Program was created based on the long term healing
model that Tuesday’s Children has gained international recognition for. Experts in
the field of child development, grief/bereavement and child safety have guided
Tuesday’s Children to build a well-established and highly impactful offering that can
change the trajectory of children’s lives.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
