Promotion and Design Committees

Be a part of creating the place you live and/or work! The North Quarter Committees help shape and form the North Quarter business district in Grand Rapids, MI and have an impact on the surrounding Creston neighborhoods as well.

The North Quarter Promotion Committee currently meet on the third Thursday of every month at 10am at Urban Massage 1507 Plainfield Ave NW Grand Rapids, MI 49505. If you are interested in volunteering on one of these committees please apply!

Promotion Committee Purpose

  • Communicate unique features of the District to spark interest in shopping, dining, living, or investing in the District
  • Support buy-local experience
  • Instill community pride

  • 2020 Summer/ Community Street Party and Beautification Project
  • 2020 Winter/ Holiday Community Event

We are an engaged, dynamic community that honors heritage and innovation with a variety of services, entertainment and housing to welcome neighbors and visitors. Creston, Cheshire, and a portion of the North Monroe businesses have joined forces to create The North Quarter, which represents the northeast neighborhoods of metro Grand Rapids, MI. Founded in 2011.
