Caris Healthcare of Milan is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to patients living at NHC Milan. These volunteers will work in collaboration with a volunteer coordinator to create a meaningful experience for people living inside an assisted living setting.
Volunteers providing companionship are not limited to just "sitting with patients". Volunteers can provide support with activities, offering prayers, pet therapy, assistance with celebrating the holidays, or just simply having fun.
Volunteers must be 16+ and willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, TB test, and training/orientation.
This is a great opportunity for someone that has spare time to give to those in need in their community. Students, homemakers, veterans, and seniors are all welcome to apply to spread the joy.
