Grant Research Volunteer

YPN is looking to add a grant research to our volunteer team. A grant research volunteer will research and identify grant opportunities to further the YPN mission. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Engages new volunteers in the necessary duties of their role.
• Creates an open environment for questions and answers to eliminate confusion or better support their adjustment.
• Providing training a minimum of once per quarter, but more frequently as needed.

• All other duties as assigned.

Responsible Work Performance Expectations

• Research foundations, corporations, and other potential funding options..
• Maintain timely communication with YPN Development Staff.
• Create an organized grant directory with possible deadlines, grant requirements, and amount of funding provided.
• Contact possible grant funders for additional information.

Support Agency/Program Mission & Values

• Research for grants that align with YPN’s mission and programming.
• Follows and models the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards as outlined in the YPN Volunteer Handbook along with other standard policies set and provided.
