AARF relies on a network of "foster parents" to provide short and long-term care for dogs and cats in their home. By offering your time, love, and attention, you prepare your foster dog, puppy, cat, or kitten for adoption into a permanent, loving home!
Fostering is definitely not for everyone and there are other ways you can get involved. But if you decide to foster, the benefits are tremendous. To be part of a homeless dog/cat finding it’s forever family, a sick animal becoming healthy, and a family finding a pet to love is rewarding beyond words. Knowing that you are saving lives is one of the most fulfilling feelings possible.
If you would like to know more, please contact sara@aarfws.org. If you feel like you are ready to start, please visit our website and fill out the application for Cat and/or Dog.
