Connect Sports

Getting ready for Connect Sports ATL 2020 Season!

We've partnered with Mercedes Benz to raise funds for ConnectSportsATL. Join us as we serve the community at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Our goal is to be able to sponsor over 30 youth from the proceeds!

Volunteers ages 16 and up will serve food and beverages to guests. Earn community service hours and a FREE meal!

WHAT TO WEAR:
Black (NON-SLIP) shoes
Black Pants
A t-shirt will be provided when you check in

SCHEDULE

2:00 pm EARLY GROUP 1 -

**Three (3) Volunteers will meet Tez Andrews (Sponsor) at Inman Park Train Station to ride together as a group to Mercedes Benz Stadium. They will exit MARTA at Vine City to check in and enter the stadium at Gate 1.

**3:45 pm REGULAR GROUP 2 - Volunteers arrive and enter the stadium at Gate 1.

Check- in and proceed to the assigned Concessions stand. The Group Name is Connect Church/ConnectSportsATL

**4:00 pm Concessions stand Opens.

**5:00 pm - Concert begins

**9:45 pm - Concessions shuts down

10:30 pm - Volunteers leave

Connect Food Pantry - 3532 Covington Highway, Decatur, GA next to the Social Security Office.

At Connect Food Pantry, we are committed to reduce food insecurity and be a food resource for the community. Volunteers assist the Community Ambassador and Crisis Director in organizing the food pantry on the date of delivery (usually Monday -date TBA* between 11 am & 2 pm) and distributing food boxes that following weekend. Food is usually distributed Fridays from 3pm - 7pm and Saturdays, 9am - 12pm. Volunteers will be notified via text and/or phone call after registering with us.

Connect Community Service & Restructuring Program - (Crisis Ministry) exists to provide opportunities for individuals to re-engage with society while learning life-skills including and obtaining community service experience.
