11th Annual March for Marrow LA 5K Run and Walk Set-Up

6:00 to 7:30 am: We need as many as 40 Volunteers for this timeframe. We do ask Volunteers who work Set-Up to stay until 9:30 am if possible. If not - let us know when you sign up.

• 20 Vols - Event Set-Up - Set up pop-ups, table, chairs for registration site, t-shirts, signage, banners, water stations, and pre-walk refreshment.
• 16 Vols - 5K Run and 1-Mile Route Set-Up - Set up approximately 24 signs and cones along both the 5K Run and 1-Mile course under the direction of the Run Director.
• 4 Vols - Water Stations - Set up a water table at turn-around for the 5K Run and the 2-Mile walk. We will also have a water stop at the Start/Finish.
• 4 Vols - Volunteer Check-In and then Breakfast Station - Set up the Volunteer Check-In first and then the Breakfast Table. We usually provide bagels or croissants, coffee and juice.
• 2 Vols - Foundation - 1 table for Foundation materials.

7:30 to 8:30 am:

• 6-8 Vols - Pavilion & Auction Area - Set up chairs, tables and tablecloths, Kidz Zone and other behind the Funnel House
• 2 Vols - Stage Set-Up - Help DJ with his equipment and hang the event banner and set up Awards for Award Ceremony
• 1 Vol - Kidz Zone - Set up tables, chairs for art projects for the Art of Elysium volunteer for children’s activities.
• 4 Vols - Sponsor AND Vendor Set-Up - Assist vendors with set up of materials/supplies. Meet them at their cars or trucks and help them carry their supplies to their tables. Maps will be provided.
• 2 Vols - Memory Board - Set up Memory Board and supplies for patients and family members
• Other as needed.
